George Floyd was a hip-hop artist and religious mentor from Houston, TX. On May 25, 2020, he was arrested for allegedly using a counterfoil $20 bill. Despite being unarmed, he was handcuffed face-down on the pavement. Two officers physically restrained George, while another knelt on his neck for almost 8 minutes.
George died at the scene of his arrest.
He was 46 years old.
